SKILL2SUSTAIN Dissemination Events
SKILL2SUSTAIN project team continue to disseminate results through conferences, workshops and collaboration with partner institutions, with a strong focus on practical examples of integrating green and digital skills into teaching and learning.
As part of our commitment to promoting the initiative, ETMI has carried out three key dissemination activities, each contributing to greater project exposure and engagement.
1) National Activism Day 2025 (#NAD)
Held on October 29 at Europe Park, Skanderbeg Square, Tirana, this event brought together citizens, youth, and civil society actors to promote environmental awareness and community involvement. ETMI used this platform to highlight the project’s goals and encourage public participation in sustainability-focused education.
2) BeMed+ Action Plan Stakeholder Workshop – Elbasan
On 14 November, over 30 stakeholders gathered in Elbasan for a workshop led by INCA Albania and Surfrider Foundation Europe, advancing the Local Action Plan to reduce single-use plastics in the Shkumbin River Basin.
ETMI in collaboration with UNIVERSITETI I TIRANES showcased the Skill2Sustain platform, with Professor Elona Pojani presenting its features and impact in supporting green and digital competencies for plastic-dependent HoReCa businesses.
3) Teacher Engagement Workshop – Charles Telford Erikson VET School
On 20 November, ETMI organized an outreach session in Golem, Kavaja, with teachers from the vocational school to introduce the OneFuture platform and its continuation through Skill2Sustain project. The session emphasized the benefits of teachers and students registration, as well as building meaningful engagement with local business stakeholders through the platform.
