ETMI took part in the kick-off meeting of the SKILL2SUSTAIN project, held on 
5–6 May 2025 in 
Novi Sad, Serbia. The overall goal of the project is to enhance green 
and digital skills 
in the higher education sector 
.
The project will begin by identifying skill gaps in current curricula and academic activities 
. These gaps will be addressed through the exchange of best practices, capacity-building efforts, and pilot demonstrations.
In partnership with the Environmental Engineering Department in Tirana, we will work to transfer knowledge to both students and labor market stakeholders.The project is expected to deliver the following results:
. Certified lifelong learning programs
. Research and Education Centres (RECs) established within Western Balkan higher education institutions
. Teaching exchanges and co-authored academic publications
