Description:
The general goal of the project is to raise awareness of the importance of the environmetal protection, waste management and recycling to reduce the amount of landfill waste by implementing waste separation in 6 schools and in public administration Librazhd Municipality.
The specific objectives of the project :
- Design and implement a municipal awareness raising and awareness campaign on waste separation and recycling by introducing 3R concepts through the Green Groups of learners that will be established using gender equality standards and inclusion of minorities.
- Development and implementation awareness raising campaign on waste management, separation and recycling for municipal staff members after completion of the assessment based on assessment and needs of municipal institutions in Librazhd.
- Installation and implementation of the waste separation mechanism in the premises of the four secondary schools, two primary school facilities, a municipal administrative facility integrating them into the existing waste management network in the Municipality of Librazhd.
- Developing a promotional campaign and awareness materials to encourage long-term sustainability of waste separation and recycling and to serve as the best model of practices for other municipal facilities in the Librazhd Municipality.
