Project Title: GETA: Gaming for the Energy Transition of Rural AreasD

Description:
The aim of the GETA project is to develop tools and new forms of training schemes to empower youth workers as energy advisors, to effectively guide and train rural youth with a purpose to make a smart energy transition of rural areas.
The project addresses the need to develop digital tools (gamifications) and empower/engage the new young generation (with fewer opportunities) through new energy capacity development program as instruments which can tackle the energy poverty and support the energy transition of rural areas in the Western Balkan (Green Agenda for the Western Balkan).
The specific objectives of the project :
- Empowering youth workers in becoming energy advisors with high quality expertise through competencies in Energy Efficiency and Renewable energy through NFE methods.
- Engaging rural youth in assessing the level of energy poverty and addressing recommendations for energy transition of rural areas through GETA app.
- Disseminating the results and the methodology of the project with full exploitation of the possibilities provided by the online environment as well as offline means.
