The strengthening of local actors’ collaboration through the use of alternative instruments for monitoring noise in order to advocate to local authorities for the proper management of acoustic pollution. The project has successfully achieved all its objectives and outcomes, raising awareness among approximately 748 citizens who actively participated in meetings, trainings, and in identifying problematic areas or the main sources of acoustic pollution in both municipalities. The project
“Monitoring of Acoustic Pollution in Coastal Areas” is an important contribution to objectively and transparently evaluating the interventions of Local Authorities (LAs) in the field of local democracy,
especially in the area of advocacy.
