ETMI, in collaboration with the Municipality of Roskovec, has implemented the Boom Initiative project.The project established an Energy Community in a public residential building, with the participation of 9 low-income families. This is the first REC model established in a multi-apartment building in Albania, going in parallel with recent legal developments in the country.
Through a 9-month implementation, the project enabled the installation of a 40 kWp PV solar energy system, established the REC (9 family members) 
, and provided certification for 10 building managers .

This pilot project comes as a result of ETMI’s long-term contribution to preparing the Energy and Climate Action Plan for the Municipality, and more recently, working on the preparation of the Climate Adaptation Plan for the Municipality.
This is a successful model demonstrating how CSOs, municipalities, and local communities can work together to advance the energy transition.
