In the Municipality of Librazhd, there is no program for separation and recycling of waste as part ofthe overall waste management structure currently. This project, included in the Priority # 3 field, “Tourism Development and Environmental Protection aims to initiate a program of waste separation and recycling, starting with students in schools and employees in municipal institutions who will learn about key aspects of waste separation and recycling through educational and awareness presentations through workshops before becoming active participants in the waste separation and recycling system. This program is a collaboration between CSOs, local government, public enterprise Environment and
the private sector, working together to create a successful partnership of environmental policy.
