The second edition of the #RIVERCLEAN Newsletter is now available. This publication provides an overview of the project’s recent achievements and ongoing efforts to tackle plastic pollution in the Ishëm and Vjosa river basins.

1. The launch of the second Call for Project Proposals to support civil society action against plastic pollution.
2. Capacity-building activities and training opportunities for CSOs engaged in environmental monitoring.
3. Beach clean-up and litter monitoring actions carried out across the Ishëm and Vjosa river basins.
4. Environmental awareness sessions empowering young people to become active environmental stewards.
5. The expansion of the Low Plastic Zone initiative, supporting local businesses in reducing single-use plastics.
