ETMI had the honour of participating in the SKILL2SUSTAIN Study Visit and Project Management Meeting, hosted by the University of Novi Sad,April 15–17, 2026, bringing together project partners from the Western Balkans and the European Union for three days of intensive collaboration and academic exchange.

The Project Management Meeting provided a structured review of progress across key work packages, including needs assessment for digital and green education in Western Balkan academia (WP2), the establishment of Research and Education Centers (WP3), knowledge transfer and curriculum development (WP4), and dissemination and exploitation activities (WP7). Dedicated workshops on Financial Reporting and Dissemination Reporting further supported partners in fulfilling project obligations with rigour and transparency.

The Study Visit component offered a valuable opportunity to engage directly with the University of Novi Sad’s research and innovation infrastructure — including the Faculty of Technical Sciences (Department of Civil Engineering and Geodesy) and the BioSense Institute, where ongoing work in sustainable construction, digital agriculture, and AI applications was presented. An Inter-Project Coaching Session featuring EU-funded initiatives CHILD-AI and LivingLAB greenStudio 1.0 provided further insights into good practices in EU project management.

On behalf of ETMI, our representative contributed to the meeting by presenting the agenda for the forthcoming stakeholder workshop to be jointly implemented with the Polytechnic University of Tirana (Environmental Engineering Department, Faculty of Civil Engineering) and the University of Tirana (Finance Department, Faculty of Economics) — an activity scheduled for the coming month and marking a key step in our regional capacity-building efforts.

We look forward to continued collaboration within the SKILL2SUSTAIN consortium as we advance toward our shared goals in sustainable and digital education transformation.
