ETMI developed the POWERING CITIZENS Policy Memo in collaboration with the project partners. The memo explores how #Germany, #Italy, #Albania, the #Netherlands, #Kosovo, and #Greece address energy poverty within their national energy and climate policies.
Combining policy analysis, survey findings, and community perspectives, the Policy Memo highlights the gap between policy ambitions and the everyday realities faced by households affected by energy poverty, emphasizing the need for a more inclusive and people-centered energy transition.
The #POWERINGCITIZENS project is co-funded by the European Commission through the #CERV Program. It focuses on empowering vulnerable groups across Europe, especially young people, by raising awareness, providing trainings and fostering active involvement in EU energy policies, to ensure a fair and inclusive transition.
