As part of the LAKE-CARE project, on 12 October 2026, ETMI, in cooperation with Shkodra Municipality, organised a stakeholder information meeting to present the project activities, implementation progress, and planned interventions for the restoration of Lake Shkodra’s ecosystem .

The meeting brought together representatives of the local community, local institutions, universities, and civil society organisations.

The project’s objectives and activities were presented, highlighting the importance of active stakeholder engagement. Particular attention was given to the proposed Nature-based Solutions (NbS). Participants exchanged views and suggestions on the proposed interventions, potential challenges, and ways in which they could contribute to the project’s implementation.

The meeting aimed to strengthen cooperation and joint commitment to ecosystem restoration and biodiversity conservation at Lake Shkodra.
