ETMI participated in the Remedies Final Conference, “Future of Plastic (R)evolution,” held at Center ROG in Ljubljana, Slovenia, bringing together researchers, policymakers, environmental experts, and innovators to address one of today’s most pressing environmental challenges: plastic pollution in our oceans and waters.

The conference featured insightful keynote presentations and discussions focusing on microplastic and nanoplastic pollution, innovative monitoring approaches, and the translation of scientific knowledge into practical solutions and policy actions. Particular attention was given to strengthening collaboration between science, policy, and society to support healthier marine and aquatic ecosystems.

For ETMI, participating in this event was a valuable opportunity to exchange knowledge, learn from innovative approaches, and strengthen connections with partners and experts working towards the shared goal of reducing plastic pollution.

ETMI remains committed to building on this experience and contributing to sustainable solutions for cleaner oceans and waters.
