The main objective of the workshop was to gain a deeper understanding of the municipality’s key community systems, focusing on the exposure of critical sectors, infrastructure, and assets to climate change and climate-related hazards.
Through interactive discussions with municipal representatives, the workshop explored the potential impacts of climate risks on essential local systems, identifying vulnerable areas, critical assets, and existing challenges across different sectors. The discussions also provided valuable insights into local conditions, institutional capacities, and the interconnections between sectors that may influence the municipality’s ability to respond and adapt to climate change.
The information collected will contribute to the climate risk and vulnerability assessment of Roskovec Municipality, supporting the identification of priority areas for climate adaptation and the development of a more resilient municipality. This process is aligned with the national priorities outlined in the National Adaptation Plan (NAP), strengthening climate resilience planning at the local level.
