The theme of the S2S Symposium focused on Digital and Green Initiatives, with particular attention to the skills and qualifications required from experts to support the digital and green transition.

During the Symposium, the ETMI presented the collaborative research paper: “Digital Transformation and Green Compliance in Albania: Skills Gaps Across Businesses and Public Sector”. The paper provides empirical evidence on existing digital and green skills gaps across businesses and public institutions in Albania. The findings can support policymakers, higher education institutions, training providers, businesses, and other relevant stakeholders in designing education and training programmes that strengthen digital and green competencies and contribute to a more sustainable, inclusive, and resilient transition in Albania.

The event also provided an important platform for project partners to exchange knowledge, discuss ongoing activities, strengthen cooperation, and coordinate the next steps of the SKILL2SUSTAIN Project – “Boosting Digital and Green Skills for a Resilient and Sustainable Western Balkan Society.”
