ETMI participated in the 9th and Final General Assembly (GA) of the project Remedies , held in Ljubljana, Slovenia.

The meeting marked an important milestone as the project approaches its completion, bringing together project partners to review the progress made, present key achievements and results, and discuss the final steps of project implementation.

The General Assembly provided a valuable opportunity to reflect on the project’s outcomes, exchange experiences, and highlight the importance of collaboration in addressing plastic pollution and promoting cleaner, healthier marine and aquatic ecosystems.

While Remedies is coming to an end, its impact marks the beginning of new opportunities and initiatives for ETMI. Building on the knowledge, experience, and methodologies gained through REMEDIES, ETMI is already replicating the project’s marine litter monitoring and clean-up protocol across three other projects: RIVER CLEAN, Marine Litter Prevention in Sazani and Kune Vain Islands, and JOINALBLE.

Through these initiatives, ETMI is ensuring that the results and innovative approaches developed under REMEDIES continue to generate lasting environmental impact, extending their reach across Albania and the wider Adriatic–Ionian region.

The REMEDIES journey may be reaching its conclusion, but its impact and legacy will continue through new projects and partnerships!
